| Pertinent Resolution for Margaret Canby Sportsmanship Award In honor of Margaret Canby’s outstanding commitment and countless hours contributed to the United States Tennis Association and San Antonio Area USTA Leagues, the San Antonio Women’s Tennis Association (SAWTA) will present an annual good sportsmanship award in her name. The Margaret Canby Award will be presented to a member of SAWTA who has displayed excellent sportsmanship qualities on and off the tennis court. Nominees will be made and voted on by SAWTA members via the SAWTA website. Announcement of the winner and presentation of the award will be made at the SAWTA general meeting held in the Spring. 2010 Winner is Debbie Lowry |
